Start thinking like an athlete. That’s right. It’s not a huge challenge to overcome. Make life your ‘sport’ – strive to be better at it and stay fit to prolong your ‘career’. The shift in mindset is important because, at the professional level, every player knows how to play the sport. It’s how strong they are in the mind that makes all the difference. Embrace the mindset of an athlete.
2. Create Fitness Goals
You are not going to take your workout anywhere if you don’t create achievable goals. Your fitness goals should not exhaust you. They should be realistic and have clear milestones that you can adapt your life towards achieving them. Otherwise, you are only setting up yourself for failure.
3. Plan for A Regular Workout
Consistency is what will take you to the top. If you keep pushing yourself to workout 3- or 4-times p/w, you will achieve your fitness goals in no time. Therefore, make sure you plan your workout in a way that you are able to keep at it on a regular basis. If you are not able to create one, get help from a fitness coach.
